Welcome to the Australian Institute of Work-integrated Education and Research (AIWER)
With over 25 years of experience in vocational education and engineering, I lead AIWER in our mission to enhance vocational education through work-integrated learning. Our goal is to develop industry-ready graduates and achieve high-level outcomes for students, industry, and the vocational education sector.
My doctoral research in Engineering, focusing on the practical application of education in industries, has informed our innovative approach to vocational education and its industrial outcomes. We create high-quality training and assessment methodologies tailored to industry needs and develop state-of-the-art learning and assessment resources compliant with ASQA regulations. My extensive career in TAFEs, universities, and the engineering industry equips me to drive quality assurance and coach educators effectively.
